As lifelong animal lovers with a deep commitment to conservation, our journey began with a modest effort to provide rehabilitation and rescue services from our home. With a dream to create a sanctuary where animals could receive the care they need, we quickly outgrew our initial space. This led us to purchase a property and officially establish Noah’s Ark Sanctuary – a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need.
Today, Noah’s Ark Sanctuary can house over 100 animals, with a focus on native wildlife species, such as foxes, skunks, squirrels, opossums, and raccoons. We also welcome exotic pet surrenders, ensuring they have a safe environment and proper care. Our efforts have grown, but our commitment remains the same: to provide a sanctuary where every animal can thrive.
The idea for Capybara Café came from our desire to bring conservation awareness to the community in a fun, engaging way. We believe that meaningful interactions with animals are key to fostering understanding and empathy for wildlife. Our cafe now serves as an educational hub, where guests can meet our charming capybaras and learn about wildlife conservation firsthand.
Our mission at Capybara Café is to inspire, educate, and foster a greater sense of stewardship for all living creatures. By offering carefully managed animal encounters that prioritize the welfare of our animals, we create meaningful experiences that deepen the community’s appreciation for wildlife. Through our sanctuary and the cafe, we strive to make a lasting impact on conservation efforts and promote the importance of caring for both native and exotic species.
We envision a world where every individual feels a deep connection to nature and takes an active role in wildlife conservation. Through Capybara Café, we aim to bridge the gap between people and the natural world, inspiring lasting change and a shared responsibility for the well-being of all living creatures. Our vision is to grow as a sanctuary and community hub, promoting empathy, education, and action to preserve our planet’s wildlife.
